PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling is selling furniture, exercise equipment and other items from his Massachusetts home.
An estate sale company is selling the items from Schilling's seven-bedroom, 8,000-square-foot Medfield home on Saturday.
Among the items listed on the Consignworks Inc. website are sofas, porch rockers, a baby grand piano, a punching bag, a Hummer golf cart, artificial plants, a baseball glove chair and clothing.
Schilling is being sued by Rhode Island's economic development agency over the collapse of his video game company, 38 Studios. The agency approved a $75 million loan guarantee for the company, which later went bankrupt. He has said he lost all his baseball earnings in the company.
Schilling's home is also on the market.
